Last weekend the Daring Bakers challenge, Flourless Chocolate Cake with homemade ice cream, was due so that is the cake I made, see post below. There are only two of us here and we didn't need another cake to consume. I will make the Armagnac Cake another time and will check other TWDers to see how they liked the cake. This weeks recipe was picked by Lyb of And Then I do the Dishes and I am sure she picked a great one!

Your flourless cake + strawberry ice cream look pretty wonderful, but do make Dorie's cake when you get a chance. It was a huge hit around here; and is one of the 'keeper' recipes for me.
